In this workshop, attendees will participate in a variety of exercises and interactions designed to help loosen the grip of our “forgetfulness” and open up our minds and hearts to a more peaceful and fulfilling experience of life.  This workshop will include meditation, writing, sharing, and active listening.

Remembering Ourselves

In this interactive talk, Drew will speak to our condition of “chronic forgetfulness” and how we can practice “remembering” who and what we truly are.

Celebrating Ourselves

Drew will be presenting a workshop titled Practical Spirituality for Recovery at the 4th Annual Recovery Conference in Albany, NY. This conference provides unique educational and networking opportunities for the Recovery Community across the state.

More than 500 attendees will participate in this gathering made up of individuals and family members in recovery, program administrators and directors, clinical staff, addiction recovery professionals from local, state and federal organizations and other recovery allies.

Drew will be serving as Staff Programs Faculty at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, NY from Sunday August 11, 2019 until Sunday September 8, 2019. In this role, Drew will be facilitating group experiences and teaching classes for the services corps, seasonal staff, and core staff members. Omega provided Drew with many life-changing experiences early in his recovery and healing, and he considers it a great honor & privilege to be able to return to serve, guide, and support the staff and community experience.
